Daily life of an NPC

I started a lj for my costumes.

I saw this fella as I was opening the gate to the backyard. After I took the shot, he plopped back into the pipe.
That is where he stays.

Man, I just realized how boring my ol' lj is.
I am sitting in my office area reporting people to collections for not returning their material.
I am the library's loan shark.
I can't go out and break knees though.
Some of these people are children.

Just had to clean a lil' poo off the seat in the women's bathroom.
The many wonderful duties of Circulation.

I love working at the library.
I feel in my element.
I had a dream that one of the ladies that works up here brought her dogs to work.
I think that is the only part of my element that is missing.
Well, sewing and gardening.And Lee.

I especially like hollering at the end of the day that the library is closing. We don't have pa system, so I get to project my voice.

Oh, and we found out that ace is a walker/beagle mix. Hence his long legs and snout.
Go, Ace!

I had another dream about goldfish last night.
They are a recurring theme for me.
I used to have this dream that I would go down into the basement at my mother's house and I would see two or three fish tanks that I had totally forgotten about that I let get all green and gross. There would be several dead goldfish in them, as well as several that were struggling to survive.
It stressed me out.

Last night, I dreamed that I went into a basement at a different house that I suppose was me and Lee's. I saw several goldfish tanks. several! They were full of healthy fish. There was one tank that had algae in it. I started to clean that tank out and I put those fish in a tank with some turtles in it. The turtles immediatly ate those goldfish and they got bigger and healthier. "I've got to get them a new tank". I thought to myself.

So, the first dream, I had at the time intrepreted as meaning that there were secret things in my life that needed nurturing that were not receiving the attention they needed or deserved. What does the second one mean?

I am at the library today, hence the use of internet.
I went to go check the outside drop box and the wind pulled a 7 year itch on me.
See, librarians do have a wild side.

O my gosh! Is Peyt the Great updating?

I have a new job at the library. I love it. I am so glad to be back here!
I am not at reference anymore, that is the only weird part. Even though I only worked over there for a month, it is still strange to look out and see Heather in the face instead of the back of her wonderful head.

I like it.

We have two dogs now. Beagles. They are males. The Beagle Boys.
The 15" named Ace is sort of more Lee's dog. He is a Marley wanna-be.
The 13" named Wally is mine all the way. Lazy, gassy, and stubborn.

I need to post pictures of them on here, but I have no idea how I am going to do that.

I got started back at ol' Shiloh. Lee and I got married there, and went to church there together during high school. I have to go by myself now. I don't really fit into a Sunday School class right now though.
Oh well, where God leads.

I am going to start walking some during my lunch break maybe and start eating during my first break, when it stops raining.
My poor flooded flowers.

I need a job. Any job. Someone hire me!
